FAQs

What is the dresscode?

Please dress smartly. Suits are expected for gentlemen. The more colourful your outfit the better. Hats are not required but are very much welcome! Please note the reception will take place in a marquee and drinks will take place on the lawn so consider your footwear.

The bridesmaids are wearing pink but please don't feel like you can't also wear this colour.

Can I bring my children?

We want you to really relax and enjoy the day so kindly request that children be left at home (in the care of responsible adults!).We appreciate your understanding.

Is there parking at the church or reception?

There is no official parking available but you can park on the roads nearby without a ticket or permit required. We recommend taking a taxi to the Church as you can walk from there to the house for the reception and won't have to worry about your car.

How will I get from the church to the reception?

The reception is a short walk (8 minutes) from the Church.

How will I get back to my hotel at the end of the night?

There are lots of taxi companies in the area. We recommend United Taxis who have an app. It is advisable to pre-book your taxi in advance. We anticipate festivities will end by midnight.

Where should I stay?

There are plenty of hotels or Airbnb's in the local area to suit a range of budgets. Both Bournemouth or Poole are not far. Please check out our suggestions here.
